​I am Vera — Ukrainian, born and raised in Kyiv. By education I am a software engineer, by profession an IT manager, and by calling — a guide.

And this is exactly the case where the calling won 🙂

A little about me:

• I have lived in the Netherlands for over 6 years

• Technical university degree

• I keep studying this country, both in theory and on foot

• I have been making guests fall in love with the Netherlands for more than 5 years

• I run tours in Ukrainian and in English

A long time ago I went mad — in the good sense of the word — about the Netherlands, back when I came here on business trips and as a tourist. And now I have been living in this wonderful country for six years. All this time I have been studying the history of the Netherlands, of Europe and of European art. I read, I listen, and I keep discovering new secrets kept by this remarkable Kingdom.

This tiny country in the north of the continent exists and flourishes against every law of physics, and it astonishes in everything: in history and geography, in architecture and art, in technical, scientific and financial innovation, in its flora and fauna, its food and the mindset of its people. I have even almost grown used to the local weather, wild in its unpredictability. And when you are genuinely passionate about something, the greatest joy is to share that passion with everyone around you. For more than four years now I have been successfully making all my wonderful guests fall for the Netherlands, once they land in my caring hands 😊

Being a guide is both my work and my passion, and I put all my effort, knowledge, time and heart into it. So trust me: you will not be bored.
