Privacy policy
Who is responsible for your data
The Once in The Netherlands website and tours are operated by VGJA (eenmanszaak, KvK 78382963), G. van Dijkstraat 8, 2461 RV Ter Aar, Nederland. For any question about your data, write to once.inthenetherlands@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Tour request: name, e-mail, chosen tour, preferred date, number of people and your message — what you enter yourself.
- Review: name, e-mail (optional), tour name and the text of the review.
- Correspondence by e-mail, WhatsApp, Viber or other messengers, if you write to us there.
Why
Only to reply to you, arrange the tour and run it. We send no newsletters, and we never sell or share your data.
Reviews on the site
Reviews are published as text only, never as screenshots of conversations. Your name appears under a review only if you agreed to it; otherwise it is signed “Tour guest”.
Photos from tours
Photos from tours in which guests can be recognised are published only with their consent. If you are in a photo and would like it removed, write to once.inthenetherlands@gmail.com and we will remove it.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept as long as needed for the tour and possible future trips. Invoices are kept for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. On request we delete everything the law allows us to delete.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses no cookies, no visitor counters and no advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own site, not from Google.
Who processes data technically
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical visit data (including the IP address).
- Tour requests and reviews arrive in our Gmail (Google) mailbox.
- If you write to us on WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram or social media, the rules of those services also apply.
- If you pay for a tour through a payment service (for example Tikkie or PayPal), that service processes the payment data under its own rules.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (AVG in the Netherlands) you can ask us to show, correct or delete your data — just write to once.inthenetherlands@gmail.com. If you believe we have violated your rights, you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
