Keukenhof Tulip Park

If at some point, many years from now, you are planning to end up in paradise, then Keukenhof park is a must. Because this is paradise’s branch office on Earth.

By the statistics, this place ranks first as the most photographed in Europe and second in the world, after the Taj Mahal. Every year 7,000 tulip bulbs of every variety in existence are planted here, along with countless other flowers and plants. The country’s finest landscape designers work here, and the composition is different every year — so even if you have been here before, there is still plenty to surprise you. And from me you will learn the remarkably long history of this flower, so iconic in the Netherlands: the tulip. About the famous Tulip Fever, about the astonishing story of how the park came to be, about its not entirely romantic name, and about a real Dutch “Angelique”. And of course I will be your guide through this blooming labyrinth of refined beauty.

The tour lasts 3 hours and covers almost the whole park. If you wish, we will stop at one of the many cafés for a cup of coffee with a delicious apple pie.
